How to merge PDF files online
Merging PDFs means joining separate PDF files into a single document, in the order you choose. People do it when a report arrived as several attachments, when a scanner saved one PDF per chapter, or when a form and its appendix need to travel together. Merge PDF on MyConvert does that in the browser. There is nothing to install and no account is required.
What you need
- At least two PDF files. The tool appends whole files; it does not pull single pages out of a file.
- Files you are allowed to upload. Guest uploads are limited to 25 MB each. A signed-in member can upload up to 100 MB each.
- A few minutes. Guest results stay available for 30 minutes after the job finishes, then the files are deleted. Members keep results for 24 hours.
Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password first. Bookmarks and some form fields may not survive, so check a packet that depends on them after you download it.
Steps
- Open Merge PDF.
- Add the PDFs in the order they should appear. The first file you add is the start of the merged document.
- Start the conversion and download the single PDF from the status line when it is ready.
The pages are joined on MyConvert servers over HTTPS. The site uses an essential session cookie so the same browser can download the result. Advertising scripts stay off until you allow them, and the download control is not covered by an ad slot.
When this is the wrong tool
Use Split PDF when you already have one PDF and need to break it apart. Use Compress PDF when the file is one document that is simply too large to send. Photos belong on JPG to PNG, not in a PDF merge.
If the job fails, the page shows a short reason and a support reference. Send that reference from the support page. Do not attach a file you suspect is malware.
