Licenses
MyConvert converts files with Filee and the engines Filee calls. This page is the public notice and the place to request corresponding source for copyleft components.
Filee
Filee is MIT licensed. Copyright (c) 2026 Myeonggu Kim (KnifeLemon) and Filee contributors. You may use, copy, and modify it under that license. The MIT notice must stay with substantial copies of Filee. Filee is provided as-is, without warranty.
Engines we ship or call
- Magick.NET / ImageMagick: Apache-2.0, plus ImageMagick's own delegate notices.
- PDFsharp 6.2.x: MIT. MyConvert stays on the 6.2 line and does not use the 6.5 AGPL line.
- PDFtoImage / PDFium: MIT.
- PdfPig: Apache-2.0.
- SkiaSharp and Svg.Skia: MIT.
- 7-Zip: LGPL-2.1, with the unRAR restriction on its RAR code. It runs as a separate process when archives are involved.
- FFmpeg GPL builds: GPL-3.0, separate process, used when media tools are enabled.
- LibreOffice: a mix of MPL and LGPL, separate process, used when Office conversion is enabled.
- Tesseract, when used: Apache-2.0.
Ghostscript (AGPL-3.0) is not part of this version. Pandoc and calibre are optional GPL tools and are not required for the PDF and image tools on the site today.
Source offer
For GPL and LGPL components we run as separate programs, write to [email protected] and ask for the corresponding source for the version in production. We will send it or tell you where it is published. Do not attach sample malware to that request.
Admin theme
The admin shell uses Adminator, which is MIT licensed, and is served only to signed-in administrators.
