  • Accepts one PDF and returns one PDF per page, zipped when there are several pages.

About Split PDF

Split PDF on MyConvert takes one PDF and writes a separate one-page PDF for every page, then packs those pages into a ZIP you can download. People use it when a bank statement, a scanned contract, or a slide export arrived as a single file and they need to send only one page, or when another system refuses a multi-page upload. You do not install a PDF editor and you do not pay for a split. The page order in the ZIP follows the order of the source document.

The tool is free for guests and for signed-in members. A guest can upload a PDF up to 25 MB. A member can upload a PDF up to 100 MB. Guest results stay available for 30 minutes after the job finishes. Members keep results for 24 hours. After that window the source and the ZIP are deleted. This is a conversion step, not a filing cabinet for statements.

Processing runs on MyConvert servers. Production traffic uses HTTPS. You pick one PDF in the browser, the worker splits each page into its own PDF, and the download is a ZIP when the document has more than one page. There is no plug-in. The drop zone works with a pointer or with the keyboard, and the status line reports upload progress and the job state so you are not left wondering whether the click registered.

Use this tool when you have one PDF and you want the pages as separate PDF files. Do not use it to pull a photo out of a page, to compress the file, or to merge several documents. Those are different tools on this site. A password-protected PDF cannot be opened. Bookmarks and some form fields may not survive the split, which matters if a page was an interactive form rather than a flat page. A one-page PDF has nothing to divide, and the job still returns that page as a PDF you can download.

Advertising never replaces the Download button. A reserved slot can sit below the form or beside the finished download, and its script loads only after you allow ads. Refusing ads does not block the split. The essential session cookie only ties the ZIP to this browser. If the split fails, the status line gives a plain reason and a support reference. Add one PDF, wait for the page files, download the ZIP, and keep your own copy before the retention clock runs out.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is split PDF free?

Yes. Splitting a PDF does not require payment or a membership.

Do I get one file or many?

Each page becomes its own PDF. When there is more than one page, the download is a ZIP of those PDFs.

Can I split only pages 2 and 5?

Not on this page. The tool separates every page. Take the pages you need from the ZIP.

Will bookmarks survive?

Do not count on bookmarks or form fields. The split is aimed at page files, not at an interactive packet.

Can I split a locked PDF?

No. A password-protected PDF cannot be opened here.

How long is the ZIP kept?

Guests have 30 minutes to download. Members have 24 hours. Then the files are deleted.
